Kinda tied in with another project the daily e-mail. At the time there was a "deans/ directors list," there wasn't a whole lot of control over what got sent. There were some important emails that got sent to that list and there were other things that weren't quite that important. So the daily email was kind of a solution. We'll send one email to every employee, will send it once a day. And that will have all the pertinent information. Someone may need to know. So news, notices, open-enrollment, starts. The distinction really is the amount of information, the longevity of the information. You could then format the email. So so it looked nice. So we built a template for the daily email. Every Friday I would get an updated list of employee email addresses. Did get the policy that if you're an employee, you have no choice, you get the daily email. What do you do with it when it shows up in your mailbox, we can't do anything. But if you miss a deadline for turning in insurance or something like that, it's on you for not reading it. (chuckles)
