Distribution of news releases was on paper, Mark Owczarski was hired to head the news bureau. And when he got here, he said we need to change how this is done. We need to do it electronically, He gave me the task to figure out how to do it. And I sat down and I think it took about a year to figure it all out. When it was over and done with —  and it wasn't until just recently I realized that I had written a whole content management system. Ha! Because I figured out, alright, the information officers are communicators. They need to get the information into this system somehow. And it was all built on a database. That each story would be a record. There was the information that went with it. There would be the lead paragraph so that that can be pulled out and displayed on the web with a link to the whole story, time, date, who wrote it, contact info, all of that. So there was an administrative backend to get the get the story and edit it, get it ready to go and then release it. And then the front end was tapping into the database, pulling up the headline of the story, there would be a link and then that would display, the story and people could get their press releases electronically. The system continued to grow. Then it got migrated into the first CMS.
