When I was in the Center for Study of Science and Society, I was on the university computer committee for several years. That was interesting because I think one of the times I was on there was when we were getting the ROLM phones and one of them was when we were writing our first acceptable use policy, Randy Marchany. I was on a committee that to select the training platform for staff development. Like back I know we used several different companies before we went to with New River. And then I was on the committee when we selected our first CMS product, which was Ensemble, and then the forming of the IT counsel. I was with the deans people that met together. And then I think when Neal Vines came on, Dale Pokorski was one of them that helped to get that started. When Neal Vines came on, he turned it more into an IT counsel and wrote the charter and all that. The other big project I worked on was the special projects in Scholar when we had to find a way to take all of those projects out of Scholar, what to choose, what products to choose to use. And we went with Google and Office 365. This was the CMS before Canvas.
