The secure worldwide federated network access service developed for the international research and education community is known as eduroam (education roaming). This federation can be used at Virginia Tech by faculty, staff, and students, as well as by visitors from participating institutions. Virginia Tech faculty, staff, and students may use eduroam at participating universities and institutions across the United States and around the globe. Virginia Tech students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to use the eduroam wireless network by connecting to  www.eduroam.us at Virginia Tech.

eduroam works with your username (yourPID@vt.edu) and your network password.
