Cybersecurity Education
Annual cybersecurity awareness training is mandatory for all university employees, including student employees. This training is assigned directly to employees via the PageUp Learning Management System. More information about annual cybersecurity training is available here.
Virginia Tech's Phishing Education Program is another university-wide intiative for employees. This program delivers simulated phishing scenarios directly to employee inboxes on a monthly basis to provide direct experience in identifying suspicious emails and practicing safe responses in a controlled environment.
