Major General Randal D. Fullhart, Commandant of the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets, thanked Network Infrastructure and Services (NI&S) for work in Pearson Hall. He singled out the experience of seeing the mounted clock showing time zones where alumni of the Corps are serving our country today.

Pearson, the first of two new Corps of Cadets residence halls on the Upper Quad, contains 234 dorm rooms with study and lounge spaces on each level. The 101,422-square-foot building has five above-ground floors, a basement, and a room for storing the corps' cannon, Skipper.

The able and dedicated staff of NI&S installed the network and telecommunications infrastructure for the new building, including the world clock.
