Project Management Office

The Project Management Office (PMO) supports the Division of Information Technology’s commitment to ensure that IT projects and service offerings meet the university's academic, research, and administrative needs. The PMO works to increase consistency and transparency by planning, organizing, and monitoring the work to achieve desired outcomes. We adhere to the principle that Project Management rigor should be tailored appropriately to a project's size and complexity. 

Additionally, the PMO supports Virginia Tech’s IT Governance initiatives and enables Project Management best practices through project management consulting.
