About Hidden Figures

Hidden Figures uncovers the incredible story of three women who changed the space race. The film recounts the history of three black female mathematicians at NASA who helped win the space race against the Soviet Union while rocketing the quest for equal rights and opportunity forward.

For many years, these three women: Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson were left out of history books despite being the “human computers” behind NASA’s launch of astronaut John Glenn into space. Director Theodore Melfi brings the women’s achievements to life via a fast-moving, humor-filled, inspiring movie that illuminates the quest for the first orbital flight and the quest for equal rights.

If you’ve never seen it, you should! And if you already saw it - you should see it again.
