Project Closing

Project closing involves processes that finalize all activities to formally complete the project. At project closure the following may occur:

  • Verify acceptance of project deliverables by the customer or sponsor
  • Operations and support transition
  • Conduct project review and finalize budget and schedule
  • Document project [final] lessons learned
  • Sign off
  • Archive project documentation

Directions For Use

  2. Following guidance in each section of the form complete the IT Project Closing form.
  3. Obtain appropriate final approvals and signatures.
