Project Completion

Once the system is adopted, the project will be closed after a short period of time.

• The sponsor group stakeholders and appropriate IT governance bodies will be informed of the completion of the project
• Project resources are released to engage in other work
• Change Management activities such as tracking adoption and benefits realization metrics will continue for some duration.

The project manager will capture relevant documentation including any lessons learned for future use.
