Qualtrics 101: Collecting Survey Data

Learn everything you need to get started in Qualtrics: create projects and surveys, implement a variety of question types, distribute surveys and track responses, create custom data dashboards, export data to other tools, share and archive data, and collaborate with other users. 

• Session 1 (virtual): Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025; 3 to 5 p.m. Register here.
• Session 2 (hybrid): Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025; 12 noon to 2 p.m. In-person option will be held in Torgerson 3310 (the Library classroom on Torgerson Bridge). Register here.

Survey Design Consultation for Research   

For one-on-one help with survey design or data analysis for research:

• Book an appointment: Schedule a consultation directly via the Libraries' booking system: https://calendar.lib.vt.edu/appointments. Choose your preferred location (Newman or Online), then choose the “Survey Design” topic. You can choose the length of appointment, then scroll to the top and choose a date and time and fill out the short form to book your appointment.

For one-on-one help with survey design or data analysis for instructional practice:

1. Book an Appointment: Schedule a consultation directly via the TLOS’ booking system: https://tlos.vt.edu/support/consultations.html
2. Choose the “Survey Design” topic and then choose the length of appointment. You can choose your preferred expert. 
3. On the next screen, choose a date and time and fill out the short form to book your appointment.
